Making Tweets Add Up

Read an interesting article about accountants (written by Scott Cytron) using twitter, one strange thing about the article is that I could not re-tweet it or share it, never understand that. Anyway one of the things Scott addressed was a tweet example of an accountant

“Mr. Twitter,” an accountant in a medium-size practice, just wrote: “Knee-deep in tax season and working on returns.”

Hmm … pretty short and to the point. And it was only 48 characters with spaces. Therefore, it must be good, right?

A Much Better Tweet: “First-time homebuyer’s credit still available; find out if you qualify.”

How have you adjusted your Tweets to get better interaction
